Regardless of your faith and beliefs, come with us as we celebrate God’s love for ITs creation in a special way.
An ECK Light and Sound Service is an hour set aside for exactly that. It isn’t a lecture and it isn’t a ceremony you need to know your way around — it’s a gathering, and you can take part in as much or as little of it as you’d like.
What the hour may hold
- A speaker sharing from their own spiritual experience
- Light musical performances
- A panel or open group discussion
- Time to experience the Light and Sound of God through HU (pronounced hue), an ancient love song to God
- A few quiet minutes of contemplation afterwards
Participation in the HU song is respectfully each person’s choice. Sing if you’d like to. Sit and listen if you’d rather. Both are entirely welcome, and nobody will notice which you chose.
Fellowship and light refreshments are provided after the service — so there’s time to stay, ask a question, or simply meet people, if you want to. No obligation to linger either.
You don’t need any background in ECKANKAR, and you won’t be asked to sign anything or join anything. Come as you are, take with you whatever rings true, and leave the rest.
