Some questions don’t come from books. They arrive quietly, often at odd hours. Who am I, really? Is there something greater than all this — and could I know it for myself, rather than take someone’s word for it?
That question is worth following. Across every age and every culture, people have set out on the same quest: not to be told about the divine, but to meet it directly.
ECKANKAR’s approach is experimental in the oldest sense of the word. It offers simple spiritual exercises you can try in the laboratory of your own life, and then judge by what you actually find. You are Soul — an eternal, creative being, a spark of God. And the ECK, the Light and Sound of God, is a current you can learn to recognize for yourself.
Nothing here asks you to believe it. It invites you to test it.
In this one-hour talk, Sri Doug Kunin explores the quest for God-Consciousness — a deepening awareness of that divine presence — and what it may mean for your own spiritual life. You are welcome simply to listen. Take with you whatever rings true, and leave the rest. The point is your own experience, discovered at your own pace.
People of all faiths and beliefs are welcome. No background in ECKANKAR is needed, and nothing is asked of you but your curiosity.
